Bigger Picture Show
The Bigger Picture Show is an annual event organized by Lodge Design that showcases indy’s best designers and their talents. Every year designers are given a prompt and a movie and left to their own devices to reimagine and design a poster for their given movie. All posters are sold in a silent auction with proceeds going to benefit the Indy Film Fest and its mission to create a shared experience around film.
About the project
This year is my 6th year participating in the show. Over the years, I have used this show as a way to explore and push my boundaries as a designer. I like to try new styles, techniques, or new tools each year - which is why my posters range in style. This year’s design (Beetlejuice), is my absolute favorite. I illustrated the entire poster by hand using my iPad and Apple Pencil.
